Tarantula appoints new Managing Director

Singapore – March 30, 2018 - Tarantula announced today that Anders Smedberg has joined the company as Managing Director. He will be based in Sweden.

In this role, Anders will be primarily responsible for strengthening Tarantula’s operations and rebuilding its focus and presence in Europe and the Americas. He will be working closely with existing and new customers to secure our position as market leader in tower asset management software. His engagements with key tower companies and telecom operators will help to steer the company’s product roadmap towards providing value-based benefits for management of both macro and micro tower sites.

Anders is an experienced business developer and sales leader with over 25 years of experience in leading telecom, IT, and financial market companies. Prior to joining Tarantula, Anders served as the Global VP Sales for Ericsson’s BSS portfolio based out of Ericsson HQ in Sweden and Head of ICT for Ericsson in APAC based in Hanoi. Prior to that, he held several sales leadership roles in companies such as Basset and Nasdaq OMX Technology.

Anders has an MBA from IHM Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from FEI Institute, Sweden.
