Project Manager
Objective
- Responsible for the successful implementation of Tarantula products in customer environments within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines. Prepare scope of work and seek necessary approvals from customer and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed work breakdown structures and an execution plan. Adopt internal delivery tools to execute and track the work until closure.
- Manage the cost, schedule and scope by overseeing project deliverables and make sure that they are in line with the plan. If not, revise them appropriately with the necessary approvals.
- Evaluate the status of project versus plan and proactively identify possible project risks. Implement risk mitigation solutions as appropriate with the help of performance and project metrics.
- Lead delivery assurance review sessions with technical and business teams, including all levels of management within Tarantula and the client organization.
- Provide status reports to team members, Tarantula management, and clients.
- Maintain consistency in the approach and integration of development efforts across the customer base and adhere to the benchmark processes in project delivery and quality assurance.
- Effectively manage any changes to scope through robust change request processes, appropriate documentation, and required approvals. Carefully assess change impact from a technical and functional perspective and provide guidance to the team.
- Be responsible for people management. Set concise and clear expectations about project deliverables and guide the team using appropriate methods and best practices.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of knowledge base among the team members and guiding the team in enhancing technical capabilities and increase productivity.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is essential for this role. A Masters in Technology or Business Administration would be an added benefit.
- PMP certification is preferred.

Technical Skills
- Desired experience: 3-4 years, including 2 years of Project Management experience in running a mid-sized ERP implementation team and working with international customers.
- Sound technical knowledge and hands-on experience in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting source code in a complex codebase.
- Proficiency effort estimation techniques, project planning, execution, and people management besides MS-Office.
